Hello, I'm Mehmet

I am Mehmet Bayık, a Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineering student at Bilkent University with a strong focus on machine learning, computer vision, embedded systems, and multimodal AI. I enjoy building complete systems from low-level embedded hardware to high-level deep learning models and integrating them into real, deployable products.

I have industry experience at Aselsan Defence working on CCTV systems, object detection pipelines, embedded-device communication, and automated test applications. I have also worked at Vestel Electronics R&D - Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Directorate, gaining experience with Python, C, Linux environments, Docker, Git, and Agile workflows.

My work often combines AI + embedded systems + software engineering, and I aim to build systems that are explainable, efficient, and user-oriented.
